'Great jokes, with an easy, confident manner. Cassidy seems to have a real commitment to making intelligent comedy shows about fun ideas'
Fringe Guru Aug 2012

As well as being an award-nominated stand-up in the UK (Malcolm Hardee Award 2012), Nathan is an award-winning playwright, having won the Sir Michael Caine Award for new writing for his play ‘The Cure for the Common Cold’.

Nathan's debut Edinburgh Fringe show in 2010 was at Just the Tonic at the Caves, after sell-out shows at the Leicester Comedy Festival, and on the Brighton and London Fringe in 2010.  His follow up show 'Fantastica' returned to Just the Tonic in 2011.  His 2012 shows 'Free Pound' and feature documentary film 'I am Orig' were nominated for a Malcolm Hardee Award. His 2013 show 'Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner' hits all the major festivals this year and he is resident host of The Rat Pack stand-up comedy show in London and Edinburgh (www.theratpack.co.uk).

Nathan has previous experience on the Fringe dating back 14 years – in 1996 he was a baby-faced winner of Mervin Stutter’s Spirit of the Fringe Award for the play ‘Lady Bracknell was a Lesbian’.  He was also in The Donkey Show, which was the big hit of the 2000 Edinburgh Fringe.
